At least 10 people were killed and 20 went missing Monday after a boat carrying migrants capsized off Istanbul's northern coast.
Most of the migrants who died were children, a rescue official said.
According to reports, the boat was carrying 30-40 people, Hurriyet news reported.
Six people have been rescued by Turkish coast guards and rescue teams dispatched to the area while 10 bodies were found near the site of the incident.
Meanwhile, the Istanbul governor's office confirmed that four bodies were found in the sea as five people were rescued alive.
The accident took place near the village of Rumeli Feneri.
Seven coast guard boats, a helicopter and a special team of divers are assisting the rescue work, officials said.

Fishermen have also been assisting officials in the rescue work.
The refugees were believed to be heading for Romania.
