At least 10 people were killed and 42 others injured in three road accidents in Pakistan's Punjab province on Tuesday, local media reported.
Urdu TV channel 92 News said that eight people were killed and 20 others injured when an oil tanker crashed into a van near Vehari area of Punjab.
The report added that the oil tanker's driver lost control over the vehicle as it was over-speeding and crashed head-on into the passenger van coming from opposite direction.
Separately in Hafizabad city, 14 school kids were injured when a passenger van and a school bus collided and the school bus overturned.
The accident happened when the school bus tried to overtake the van.
The third accident happened on motorway near Sheikhupura city where two people were killed and eight others injured in a pile-up of vehicles.

Police said that 10 vehicles, including a bus, a van and eight cars, hit one another at the motorway due to dense fog.
The injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital while the pile-up disrupted road traffic for a few hours.
Road accidents happen frequently in Pakistan due to poorly maintained roads, violation of road safety rules and reckless driving.
