At least 13 people were killed Thursday in rain related incidents across Pakistan's Punjab province.

Six members of a family were killed when the roof of their residence collapsed in Lahore's Mozang Town, Dawn online reported.

Four people, including two children, were killed in separate incidents of roof collapse in Sialkot.

Three people died when the roof of their house collapsed in Gujranwala district.

A labourer was also injured when a two-storey building under construction came down crashing in Johar Town.

The heavy downpour has resulted in the inundation of many low-lying areas in Lahore.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department warned that all rivers in Punjab are likely to get "exceptionally high" Sep 5-7 because of the intensification of rains reported in various parts of the country.
