At least 13 people had died in violence in Panchkula in violence following conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh, the Union Home Ministry said.
"As per Panchkula Control Room, 13 deaths reported during violence and in Sector 16, various shops were set ablaze," said a ministry spokesperson.
