Two youths were arrested for killing a Bahujan Samaj Party panchayat member from Uttar Pradesh on Monday over personal enmity, police said on Tuesday.
The accused have been identified as Fahad Khan,18, and his accomplice Farhan Ansari,19. THey are the resident of south Delhi's Zakir Nagar. They were arrested on Tuesday from their hideout in Jamia Nagar.
"Fahad Khan and Farhan Ansari were identified with the help of CCTV footage. They were captured when they were escaping on a bike after firing on the BSP panchayat member from Uttar Pradesh, Dilshad,35, who was later declared dead on arrival at a hospital," Deputy Commissioner of Police Chinmoy Biswal said.
