At least 23 people were killed on Friday in two separate attacks in Iraq's Anbar province, a security official said.
In one incident, a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden military truck into an army position in Jubba area, some 200 km northwest of of Baghdad. It killed 17 soldiers, the official told Xinhua news agency.
In another incident, a foreign aircraft carried out an air strike that targetted an Islamic State (IS)-owned factory that resulted in the death of six militants, the official added.
