At least 23 people were killed and 38 others injured when a passenger bus rolled down a deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, police said.
The accident took place in Marothi in Udhampur district, a police official told IANS.
Among the injured, six critically wounded people were airlifted to Jammu for specialised treatment, while the others were admitted to the Udhampur district hospital.
The bus apparently went out of the driver's control and plunged into the gorge.
