Police defused a 25 kg bomb at a bus-stop in Pakistan Tuesday.

After receiving a tip-off about a suspicious bag, Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) personnel recovered the bomb from a bag in Karachi's Saeedabad area, Dawn reported.

It was successfully defused. Ball bearings and nuts were used in making the bomb.

Police said it could have caused massive destruction had it exploded.
