Four youths have been arrested onthe charge of digitally stealing e-vouchers totalling Rs 1 crore after hacking a payment gateway of a famous e-commerce websites here, Delhi Police said on Wednesday.
Police said Sunny Nehra, Prakhar Aggarwal, Tejveer Sheoran and Delhi University student Azad Choudhary had hacked the website of e-commerce firm Voucha Gram India Pvt. Ltd.
They allegedly stole e-vouchers of Rs 1 crore digitally after hacking the payment gateway of the Pay U online payment gateway.
The crime was reported on December 30, 2016, by company senior manager at Hauz Khas police station in south Delhi.
"E-vouchers digitally shoplifted belonged to companies like Make My Trip, Amazon, Flipkart, Big Bazaar and other online shopping companies," Deputy Commissioner of Police Ishwar Singh said.

"The digital money siphoned off was used for buying sophisticated proxy servers, virtual private networks, high-end laptops and other articles. Most e-vouchers digitally shoplifted by them were spent in five-star hotel accommodations, air tickets etc.," Singh said.
