At least 40 people are reported missing after a landslide swept through the living quarters of a mining company on Wednesday in China's Shaanxi province.
The landslide occurred around 12.30 a.m. (local time) on Wednesday, and brought about one million cubic meters of earth that buried five dorms and three houses at the Wuzhou mining company in Shanyang county, reported Xinhua.
Police, firefighters, mining rescuers and paramedics have rushed to the scene.
