At least 50 rebel fighters were killed in an army ambush in Syria's southern province of Daraa, media reported Sunday.
The Syrian government forces ambushed an array of rebel groups between the towns of Hara and Zamrin in the western countryside of Daraa, Xinhua reported citing the Sham FM radio.
The report also said foreign fighters were also among those killed.
The troops confiscated large amounts of weapons and ammunition after the ambush, said the radio.
