More than 60 children were reported falling ill Monday morning aboard a London-bound flight after finishing their performance in South African.

According to the media, London Ambulance Service Monday morning was called to check over the group of children, whose flight was just landed at the Heathrow Airport, Xinhua reported.

Twelve of those children have been sent to Hillingdon Hospital in London for treatment and were said having recovered quickly.

Aged from 10-14, the children were from a Welsh choir Only Kids Aloud. They were struck with diarrhea and vomiting on the flight back from a concert in Cape Town in South Africa. They were flying home via Dubai on an Emirates flight.

The chorus participated in the celebration events in South Africa to mark the 20th anniversary of the end of apartheid rule and the establishment of democracy in the country.
