Around 85 per cent Indians think the global economy will be robust and surge in 2019, according to a report titled "Ipsos Predictions 2019".
Globally, people in France and Japan are least optimistic about the world economy during the ongoing calendar year.
The survey by the global market research and consulting firm Ipsos also said that around 33 per cent Indians think major stock markets in the world could crash in 2019.

On the usage of internet over TV viewership, the survey found that 80 per cent of Indians expect people around the world would spend more time browsing online than being glued to their TV sets.
"Being online will take precedence over watching TV," it said.
