A ranch in China's Heilongjiang province will be home to a staggering 100,000 dairy cattle, a media report said on Friday.
The ranch, a joint venture between China and Russia, will be established in Mudanjiang city.
It will come up with an investment of 1 billion yuan or $161 million. Experts believe it will become the world's largest ranch and all the milk and milk products will be sold in Russia, reported People's Daily citing Nandu.com.
Official data shows in the first half of this year, a total of 33,900 tonnes of fruits and vegetables were exported from Heilongjiang to Russia via Heihe, a port along China-Russia border.
