The Airports Authority of India (AAI) on Monday said that it has signed an MoU with the Uttarakhand government to develop the civil aviation sector in the hill state.
"The scope of the MoU is to identify... evaluating site related technical and engineering parameters for development of projects. AAI will also assist UCADA (Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority) in obtaining necessary clearances for airport operations starting with the upgraded airport at Pithoragarh and later at Chiniyalisaur," it said in a statement.
