AAP legislator from Matia Mahal Asim Ahmed Khan on Thursday alleged that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his aides have given him death threats.
"Me and my family members are receiving death threats from Kejriwal and his aides. If anything happens to me and my family members, he (Kejriwal) and his aides shall be responsible," said Khan.
He was a ministeer in the Delhi government till the Chief Minister sacked him in October for allegedly demanding bribe from a builder.
Khan also said that he has appealed to Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to provide police protection to him and his family.
"On May 2, I complained to L-G Jung and Rajnath Singh that I was receiving death threat. I also asked them for police protection," Khan said.
He alleged that he was threatened with dire consequences for asking Kejriwal to investigate fellow AAP legislator Naresh Yadav's role in Malerkotla Quran desecration case.

"I received a death threat call around 15-20 days back. I also filed an FIR at Jama Masjid police station," Khan told reporters here.
Asked why he was threatened, Khan said: "I worked as a minister in Delhi government for nine months. I know many things which would create problems for them. I have all the proof and would expose Kejriwal very soon. He will benefit from my death."
"I saw a drama on television yesterday (Wednesday) where Kejriwal alleged that Prime Minister Modi would kill him. I was scared for the past few months, but the video gave me the courage to come out and expose Kejriwal who is making false allegations against the PM," Khan added.
"As of now I am not leaving the Aam Admi Party," Khan stressed.
