The Aam Aami Party Delhi government Friday ordered yet a probe into one of the projects in the Commonwealth Games conducted in 2010 when the Congress was in power.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau under the government will probe the alleged irregularities in the the construction of roads and flyovers in which the government allegedly incurred a loss to "the tune of Rs.198 crore".

"Loss of this magnitude could not have occurred without the knowledge, support and collusion with functionaries at the highest level of the executive," said a government statement, adding the matter has been referred to the Anti-Corruption Branch for a "thorough" and "impartial" investigation and necessary action.

The Arvind Kejriwal government Thursday had asked the anti-corruption bureau to investigate the alleged irregularities in installing streetlights during the Games.

In its poll campaign for the December assembly elections, the AAP went hammer and tongs against the Sheila Dikshit-led Congress government over irregularities and corruption in conducting the Games.

It had promised to send the guilty, including Dikshit, behind bars.
