The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday condemned the massacre of 25 CRPF personnel in a Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh on Monday and paid tribute to them.
Condemning the incident, AAP leader Kapil Mishra said this was a "cowardice" act and the country would "not tolerate" it.
"It is a tragic incident. We all are deeply pained. We pay tribute to these martyrs. May God give strength to the families of the deceased soldiers to bear the loss," Mishra, who also holds the portfolio of Delhi Tourism Minister, told reporters.
"The country will never forget these soldiers' supreme sacrifice for the nation."
He also urged Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to "take revenge" for the "cowardice" attack.
"We will not tolerate anyone hitting our soldiers like sitting ducks. We urge the Home Minister and the Chhattisgarh administration to take such a revenge for this attack that generations of the perpetrators may remember," Mishra said.

He added that this was not the first time when troopers were attacked. "The government should take the people of the country in confidence and tell the nation what policy they have prepared to tackle terrorism."
On Monday, around 300 Maoists, including women, ambushed a CRPF contingent in a forested patch in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, killing the troopers and escaped with their AK-47 assault rifles.
