Actor Aaron Paul is in talks with filmmaker Ron Howard for a role in the screen adaptation of the book "The Dark Tower".
The actor is likely to essay Eddie Dean, who is the lead figure in the Stephen King book series of the same name, reports contactmusic.com.
"I've had a ton of meetings on that. I just had a general sit down with Ron Howard, who is a huge fan of the show ('Breaking Bad'), which is such a crazy thing to even think that Ron Howard even knows who I am," Bang Showbiz quoted Paul as saying.
The actor also said that the film will have three parts and a "television element" will also be added to it.
"They're definitely planning on making it. I'm excited. Their goal is to do three films, but also have a television element to it, which will be very interesting. From what I hear, Eddie Dean is a pretty epic, iconic character," he added.
The actor has also been seen in "Wreckage", "Say Goodnight" and "Daydreamer".
