A 13-year-old boy abducted for ransom in Bhopal this week has been freed from captivity and four people involved in the crime have been arrested, police said on Thursday.

"Mohit was found in a house in Kuravar village in Rajgarh district" in a raid on Wednesday night, Deputy Inspector General of Police Raman Singh told IANS.

"Four young men involved in his abduction have been arrested," he said.

Mohit, a class seven schoolboy, was abducted on Monday from Barrai village in the Bagh Sevania area of this district, according to the police.

The boy's family had since been receiving calls demanding ransom, Raman Singh said.
