Abu Dhabi, March 6 (IANS/WAM) The Abu Dhabi International Airport Thursday morning diverted flights coming to the capital to neighbouring airports in the region because of very low levels of visibility.
The Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) said in a statement that Abu Dhabi experienced thick fog during the early hours of Thursday morning which resulted in the flights coming to the capital being diverted to neighbouring airports in the.
The ADAC said that all airport personnel were working on finding appropriate solutions to mitigate the problems faced by passengers.
It also advised travellers to contact their airlines to find out the latest status of their respective flights.
