Rome, April 27 (IANS) AC Milan striker M'Baye Niang has claimed that he wants to be a better footballer than Barcelona's Lionel Messi.
The French forward said Friday his aim was to win the Ballon d'Or, and believes that will be possible whilst at the Rossoneri, reports Xinhua.
"Milan are a great team that have won everything," he said. "For a young player, it is an honour to be part of this club."
"Now I just want to repay the trust people have shown in me. I want to work to become the best in the world. I always think about the Ballon d'Or."
"It's my goal to win that. I want to become stronger than Messi. I work very hard, and I know that one day I will reach my goal," he said.
