One of the four persons arrested on the charge of gang raping a US tourist here last year withdrew his bail application on Tuesday.

Accused Vivek, working at the hotel where the crime was committed, withdrew his bail application listed in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Satvir Singh Lamba.

Court sources said the accused is likely to file another bail application before a sessions court.

Aniruddha Singh, Omprakash, Maqsood and Vivek are currently in judicial custody. They were arrested from different cities in raids conducted by Delhi Police in December 2016.

Aniruddha is a Nepal-based tourist guide, Omprakash a driver, Maqsood a helper and Vivek a bell boy at the hotel.

Police recorded the 30-year-old woman's statement last month after she arrived here from the United States. She complained that she was gang raped at the luxury hotel in the first week of April 2016.
