Singer Adam Levine is set to produce an upcoming TV mini-series about the 1970s music business.
The Maroon 5 frontman, who recently made his cinematic acting debut with "Begin Again", is now going to produce a programme tentatively titled "The 1970s" through his 222 Productions company, reports contactmusic.com.
The series will take a look back at the music industry through the eyes of the music executives and artists who helped create the most influential and memorable tracks from that decade.
The show will also feature contemporary artists re-recording classic hits from the era, and Levine has already been part of the casting process and song choices for the project.
