ADAMA India, the Indian subsidiary of ADAMA Agricultural Solutions, a world leader in crop-protection solutions, has opened a new formulation lab here, a statement said on Tuesday.
The newly established formulation lab is the fourth lab in the company's research and development portfolio.A
ADAMA India's current 10,000 sq. ft. R&D facility in Hyderabad is spread across two blocks and has three labs.
"The new formulation lab is an important and a very strategic investment for ADAMA. With this new lab, our efforts at delivering farmer centric crop protection solutions to the Indian farmer is further strengthened, as we would now be able to cater to local market needs quicker than before," said ADAMA India president and CEO Ilan Levanon, who inaugurated the lab.
"This new lab would now complete the end-to-end Research and Development cycle in India and will support both global market needs we well as domestic needs. It will also accelerate the process time of formulation as well as introduction of newer crop protection solutions for farmers," he added.
ADAMA India has acquired state-of-the-art equipment of the highest quality for this new lab, which will be further expanded in the next few years. The lab is equipped with the latest technological instruments which will support both liquid and solid formulations and will give the most accurate results.
