Singer Adele has apologised to the female fan who got injured at her show here where a chain fell onto the audience from the ceiling.

The incident took place at Adele concert here at SSE Hydro on Friday, reports aceshowbiz.com.

A spokesperson of the venue explained in a statement that the chain was part of the production.

"(The chain) came down and hit one person who was taken to hospital as a precaution. We are liaising with the production crew to ascertain what happened. This is all we know at this stage," the spokesperson said.
