BJP leader L.K. Advani Friday met RSS leaders at its headquarters in Nagpur and said that the meeting was very positive for the party.
The meeting came a day after Advani attended the parliamentary board meeting in the capital and sat next to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
Advani later told reporters that Modi's visit will be "very positive for the BJP and the country".
"We will bring about change and take the nation in the right direction," he said.
Advani said he had been associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) since he was 14 years old. He added that if there was no RSS, there would not have been Bharatiya Jana Sangh and the BJP.
Advani had resigned from major party posts last month following Modi's appointment as campaign committee chief of the party for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. He had relented only after intervention from the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Advani had met Bhagwat in Delhi last month and agreed to hold further discussions.
Sources said the RSS has assured Advani that he would continue to have a leading voice in key decisions of the BJP. However, they said the RSS has also conveyed its disapproval to BJP leaders of any dissonance on the issue of leadership.
