Despite the Indian Air Force's air strikes early Tuesday, trade across the Line of Control (LoC) continued as usual between the two sides of divided Kashmir.
Officials said 34 trucks carrying goods went from Chakan Da Bagh in the Poonch district to Rawalakot in Pakistan, while 17 trucks came to Chakan Da Bagh with goods from Rawalakot.
"Similarly, 35 trucks carrying goods from each side crossed the LoC at the Kaman Post to reach Salamabad trade facilitation centre, near the Uri border town, and Chakote near Muzaffarabad", officials said.
Cross-LoC trade was started as a confidence building measure (CBM) between India and Pakistan in 2008.
