Two large objects that are parts of the crashed AirAsia passenger jet have been found on the seabed, a top Indonesian rescue team official said Saturday.

The objects were found at a depth of 30 metres and their locations are close to each other, Xinhua quoted Fransiskus Bambang Sulistyo, the head of the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Office, as saying.

He confirmed the discovered objects belonged to the Indonesia AirAsia Airbus A320-200 which plunged into the Java Sea Sunday while en route from Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore with 162 people on board.

The rescuers would dispatch remotely operated vehicles to the seabed to take pictures of the objects, the official said, adding that huge waves were hampering the efforts.

Thirty bodies have been found so far.
