Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav flagged off the India-Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Motor Car Rally on Tuesday.
This rally began on Sunday starting from New Delhi and would conclude on December 3 in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok.
A process of a Motor Vehicle Agreement between these three countries, which will enable cargo and passenger vehicles between India, Myanmar and Thailand will move.
The rally is being taken out to stress on the importance of this IMT Motor Vehicle Agreement for regional connectivity and integration.
The rally is being organised under the aegis of the Indian Chamber of Commerce Kolkata, Kalinga Motor Sports Club Odisha and the Central Road Transport and Highway Ministry.
Other than meeting the goals, the rally, Yadav hoped would also promote harmony and brotherhood between the three countries.
