The Royal Spanish Football Federation has announced that the upcoming friendly between Spain and England on November 13 will be hosted at the Rico Perez stadium in the Spanish city of Alicante, in case La Roja is able to qualify directly for the Euro 2016 Championship in France.

England were the first national team to advance to next year's European championship in France, with three rounds left in the qualifiers, after winning in all seven matches played so far, reports Efe.

If Spain fail to snatch a direct qualification ticket to the Euro 2016, the date of the upcoming friendly will coincide with the playoff round, which means the cancellation of the friendly in favour of the official game.

The last game played between the two teams took place on February 11, 2011 at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium, in which Spain won 2-0, while the last time Spain played at Seville's Rico Perez stadium, under the command of manager Vicente del Bosque, was on October 11, 2012 against Scotland in the Euro 2012 qualifiers, which Spain won 3-1.
