Actor Amal Sehrawat says that initially he had butterflies in his stomach while doing bold scenes for his forthcoming film "Chudail Story".

"Initially, I had butterflies in my stomach (doing bold scenes). But gradually, I got into the skin of my character and didn't feel embarrassed to show my skin anymore," Amal, who was last seen on the big screen in Ram Gopal Varma's 2013 film "Satya 2", told IANS.

On the small screen, Amal can be seen in the popular soap opera "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" as Sangram.

Asked whether his fans would be shocked to see his bold avatar, Amal said: "Variety is spice of life, and I'm sure they will not get embarrassed as all the scenes are shot aesthetically. Moreover, they will get to see my romantic side also."

How difficult was it for him to go bold onscreen?

Amal said: "Why difficult? As an actor, it's my responsibility to show journey of the character I'm playing most honestly and I did the same with conviction."

Directed by Suryaprakash Lakkoju, "Chudail Story" is slated to release on Friday.
