Maddie Bowman of the US won the gold in the debut women's ski halfpipe at the Sochi Olympics here.
Bowman scored 89 points in her second run Thursday. Marie Martinod of France claimed the silver with a big, smooth second run that earned her a score of 85.40. Ayana Onozuka of Japan won the bronze with a solid second run and a score of 83.20, reports Xinhua.
