Andhra Bank on Saturday said its standalone net profit for the second quarter of 2015-16 rose by 73.89 percent, at Rs.251.26 crore against Rs.144.49 crore in the same period last year.
According to the unaudited standalone financial results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the bank's total income from operations increased to Rs.4,744.16 crore from Rs.4,423.62 crore, while it incurred a total expenditure of Rs.3,813.04 crore in the review period against Rs.3,677.64 in the same period last year.
