English musician Steven Wilson, along with internationally acclaimed sitarist Anoushka Shankar and Indian musicians like Shankar Mahadevan and Farhan Akhtar, will headline the seventh edition of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender in October.
It is is returning with some of the most prominent global names including Christopher Edward Martin (better known by his DJ Premier stage name), Jose Gonzalez, Vertical Horizon and RAC (DJ Set), a statement from the organisers said.
Amongst the Indian contingent, Mahadevan will be presenting 'My Country, My Music', while Papon, Indian Ocean, Skyharbor, Farhan Live, Prateek Kuhad and Nucleya will lead the way.
The festival will begin its journey from Shillong on October 21-22 following its successful debut last year. The festival then heads to Hyderabad (November 5-6) for the very first time and to Pune (December 2-4).
Vijay Nair, CEO of Only Much Louder (the creators of some popular entertainment festivals like BACARDÍ NH7 Weekender and Stage42), said: "The lineup is curated individually for every place the festival visits, and this year, we're bringing fans some of our strongest lineups yet."
Nair added: "We know that music fans aren't defined by their love for just one genre, which is why we design our lineups with the hope that not only will you find something you love already, you'll also discover your new favourites for the next few years."

The festival will make a comeback with new concepts like Bacardi NH7 Weekender Express and Bacardi NH7 Weekender House Parties.
The artistes to perform in Shillong are Aberrant, Dualist Inquiry, Farhan Live, Madboy/Mink, Nucleya, Papon, Steven Wilson, Vertical Horizon from Washington DC, Vir Das's Alien Chutney and Wild Palms from London, amongst others.
In Hyderabad, there will be names likes Alluri from London, Anish Sood, Arjun Vagale, Dualist Inquiry, Farhan Live, Indian Ocean, Madboy/Mink, Parikrama, The Raghu Dixit Project and Vir Das' Alien Chutney.
Stars like Abish + Kenny, Anoushka Shankar, DJ Premier from New York, Jose Gonzalez from Sweden, Papon, and Steven Wilson will plug in the musical chord in Pune.
Since 2010, over 100 artistes across diverse music genres have played at the fest each year.
The 2015 edition witnessed performances by some of the most acclaimed international headliners and stellar names from the Indian music scene, including A.R. Rahman, Mark Ronson, Megadeth, The Raghu Dixit Project, NUCLEYA and Bhayanak Maut.
