Archer's books among bestsellers, Bhagat's among most borrowed: Kindle

English author Jeffrey Archer's "Cometh The Hour" and "This Was A Man" have been listed among the five bestsellers while Indian Chetan Bhagat's "One Indian Girl" tops the 'most borrowed' and 'most wished for' categories, according to a survey by Kindle e-book.

Kindle on Thursday revealed e-Book reading trends for 2016 based on actual consumption in the country. Here are some interesting facts that have emerged:

* The top bestsellers were:

1. Cometh The Hour by Jeffrey Archer

2. Everyone Has A Story by Savi Sharma

3. The Sialkot Saga by Ashwin Sanghi

4. This Was A Man by Jeffrey Archer

 

* The top genres were:

1. Literature and Fiction

2. Romance

3. Health, Mind and Body

4. Children and Young Adult

5. Business and Economics

* Best read cities of India were:

1. Mumbai

2. Delhi

3. Bengaluru

4. Chennai

5. Hyderabad
