The Indian Army Wednesday facilitated the return to Jammu and Kashmir of a teenager who strayed across the Line of Control (LoC) into Pakistan.

Military spokesman Colonel Manish Mehta told IANS here that the army facilitated the return of Manzar Hussain, a 13-year-old resident of Saria village, who had been missing since Nov 14.

"The Indian Army, on being told that the boy had inadvertently crossed (into Pakistan), immediately approached Pakistan on humanitarian grounds.

"The Indian Army spoke to the Pakistan Army and ensured that the boy crosses back to India from the Uri checkpost (Tuesday) night," he said.
