To celebrate 'World Dance Day' on April 29, around 100 artistes will perform in the capital on one stage, organisers said on Saturday.
Titled "No Boundaries" the performance will create a visual vocabulary where the participants will bring both traditional and contemporary dance forms under one platform.
The event is being held by Sadhya, an institute of performing arts, in association with Big Dance Centre and Friends of Art where performers like Bharatnatyam exponent Saroja Vaidyanathan, classical dancer Ranjana Gauhar and groups like the Danceworx and Big Dance Centre are also participating.
"Through this event, we aim to foster mutual respect, appreciation and a positive outlook towards this wonderful profession and art," said Santosh Nair, artistic director, Sadhya.
The performances will take place at Kamani Auditorium from 5 p.m.
