An arrest warrant has been issued for nine presiding officers of polling stations in a National Assembly constituency for not yet providing results, a media report said Sunday.

District Returning Officer (RO) Bhakhar issued the arrest warrants for the nine presiding officers from NA-73 constituency, Geo News reported.

Bhakhar is in Pakistan's Punjab province.

The returning officer ordered the arrest of the presiding officers and to present them at the earliest.

The presiding officers are accused of not providing results from their polling stations yet, a day after the polling took place Saturday.
