On the run for the past 58 days, Narayan Sai, son of spiritual guru Asaram Bapu who has been arrested on charges of sexual assault, was arrested alongwith his four accomplices Wednesday, police sources said here.
The arrest, according to Punjab Police sources, was made by a team of the Delhi and Gujarat Police early Wednesday.
The exact location of his arrest was not known immediately. Initial reports said that he was arrested from Punjab, but there were other accounts of him being arrested from Haryana.
The police teams, including a special investigation team (SIT), also arrested four accomplices of Narayan Sai who were helping him avoid arrest for nearly two months.
"Sai and others were taken to Delhi," a source said here.

Police sources said that the Delhi police crime branch officials, who were tracking the whereabouts of Sai's driver Ramesh for the last few days, managed to zero on his location.
The police, according to one account, conducted a raid on a house but Sai and his accomplices tried to flee in a SUV. However, the police were able to intercept them at a short distance.
Sai was wearing a saffron headgear, which is worn by a lot of Sikhs in Punjab. He was wearing a T-shirt, pants and a jacket to camouflage his appearance and avoid arrest.
The Gujarat and Delhi Police had been conducting raids all over the country in the last eight weeks to nab Narayan Sai, who has been on the run since a complaint of rape was filed against him in Surat, Gujarat, Oct 6.
The complaint was filed by a 30-year-old woman, who alleged that Narayan Sai raped her between 2001 to 2005.
The raids were conducted extensively in Delhi, Haryana and Punjab.
Two sisters, who lived in Surat, have filed rape complaints against Asaram Bapu and Narayan Sai at different police stations in Gujarat. They alleged they were raped by the duo during their stay in the ashram in mid-2000s.
