Actress Asha Negi has taken the place of Shritama Mukherjee as the female lead of "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan". She says the audience should watch out for her 'tadka' on the TV show.
"Yes, I have joined the show as the lead protagonist Koyal. I am not aware of who played the role earlier but my viewers can look out for my own 'tadka' in the show," Asha said in a statement.
The replacement comes just after one and a half months of the launch of Ekta Kapoor's show on Star Plus. It is reported that the lead couple was changed in the wake of low Television Rating Points (TRP).
The show, based in Jamshedpur, is about three friends who come from different cultural backgrounds. With Tata Steel plant as the backdrop, the plot revolves around a love triangle. The lead actors were Shritama, Vibhav Roy and Gautam Gupta.
Aly Goni, who is currently playing Romi Bhalla in "Ye Hai Mohabbatein", has also entered the show along with Asha, and has started shooting.
