Singer Ashley Roberts says when she was going through a low phase in life, she sought help from a woman who taught her yoga and 'mantras'.
Asked if she has ever sought therapy, Roberts said: "I have a team of peeps! When I left the Dolls and broke my relationship of five years, I was like, 'What is going on?'
"All my past came to the surface, so I went on a journey. I found a woman who did chakra cleaning and yoga and I started learning mantras."
The "Dont cha" hitmaker channelled her energies into dancing and singing as a form of "escape" when her parents divorced and younger brother Jayce, became mentally ill, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"I felt like I had to take care of myself. My parents were a bit overwhelmed by everything and their focus was on Jayce and the divorce. My father dealt with alcohol addiction as well, so ever since I was little I was like, 'alright...'," she told Hello! magazine.
"I put all my attention into what I loved, which was dancing and singing. I escaped because I focused on that," she added.
