China's Yaru Zhang won the gold in the Asian Games women's cycling BMX category here on Saturday.
Starting as the favourite in the bicycle motocross (BMX) category, Zhang crossed the line with a time of 39.643 seconds, reports Efe news agency.
Chutikan Kitwanitsathian of Thailand took silver with 40.379 while the bronze went to Wiji Lestari of Indonesia who recorded 40.788.
The event was held in the Indonesian capital's Pulo Mas International BMX Centre.
Zhang's medal brought the total gold medals China has so far won in the Games to 68. The country currently leads the medal table with a total of 143 ahead of Japan with 107 and South Korea with 79.
