Ticket price reached as high as $6,000 apiece as Chinese champions Guangzhou Evergrande host the United Arab Emirates' Al-Ahli in the Asian Champions League final next week.
Evergrande will lift their second AFC Champions League title after 2013 if they beat Al-Ahli in the second leg of the final on November 21 in Guangzhou's Tianhe stadium. The two sides drew 0-0 last Saturday in the first leg, reports Xinhua.
The most expensive tickets priced at 39,000 yuan (about $6,100) have been sold out. The second level of tickets are sold at 18,000 yuan (about $2,826) and even the cheapest tickets will cost 600 yuan (about $94).
It is estimated that the box office for this match will exceed 100 million yuan while the number for 2013 second leg of the final was about 50 million.
