The second edition of Asian Designer Week (ADW) Summer Resort 2016 focuses on showcasing designers from different parts of the world and aims to bring national and international designers at a common platform to showcase their collections.

The tw-day event taking place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium starting Saturday, it is also a pillar of support for the upcoming and fresh talent in the design space. It was launched last year with the goal of promoting designers from all Asian countries and amalgamates various cultures.

"We aim to blend the cultures and values that exist in the Asian countries and we want to provide a ready platform for new talented designers who are often shadowed by the limelight taken by popular or seasoned designers," Robby Rawat, managing director, iGenius Entertainment, said in a statement.

This year we have designers coming from "China, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal and of course India".

"We hope year on year we give more and more designers from Asian countries a chance to prove themselves and contribute to the world of fashion globally," Rawat added.
