Taiwanese smartphone maker ASUS took to its Facebook and Twitter pages on Wednesday to post a video of ZenFone AR, hinting that the smartphone is all set to be launched in India.
The company is likely to launch the new augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) enabled smartphone in mid-July, according to industry sources.
The smartphone, powered with Google's Tango augmented reality (AR) programme and DayDream virtual reality (VR) software, is expected to change the way consumers interact with the world.
Announced at CES 2017, the smartphone will sport an 8GB RAM, backed by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, specially customised for Google Tango.
The smartphone is equipped to ensure that users enjoy a seamless, immersive experience.
ASUS also recently launched ZenFone Live, the world's first smartphone with an in-built real-time beautification technology for video live streaming.
