Atletico Madrid chief coach Diego Simeone on Monday said he loves challenges and thrives under difficulties, while admitting that the capital football club must improve.
Atletico are sixth on the La Liga table, an underpeformance for a club that reached two Champions League finals in the last three seasons.
On the eve of the Copa del Rey tie against Guijuelo at Vicente Calderon, the Argentine coach explained that he is not worried because he can adapt to face any problems, reports Efe.
Simeone pointed out that he is well aware of his team's need to improve and achieve results in La Liga, but Atletico started both the Champions League and Copa del Rey in good form.
He asserted that Atletico will continue fighting in the coming year until the end.
The coach confirmed that goalkeeper Miguel Angel Moya and Italian Alessio Cerci will be included in the squad for Tuesday's game.
