Audience's appreciation matters to Irrfan Khan (Movie Snippets)

Acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan, whose Hollywood film "Inferno" has been lauded, says the audience's appreciation is something that matters to actors.

"No matter how many films you do, appreciation, especially from the audience is something any actor is ecstatic about," Irrfan said in a statement.

The actor's film, which released in India and the US, has been praised by the audience and Irrfan says it is rewarding for him.

"The film is doing really well. I have been hearing and witnessing on social media which is rewarding for me as an actor," he added.

Directed by Ron Howard, "Inferno" also features Hollywood star Tom Hanks.

I'm always up for experimentation: Richa Chadha

Actress Richa Chadha, who has been praised for her portrayal of characters like Bholi Punjaban and Nagma Khatoon, is set to surprise her fans in the upcoming short film "Raakh". She says she is always game to experiment when it comes to roles.

The film, which is produced by Milap Zaveri, will feature Richa as a homemaker.

"I am always up for experimentation, and when Milap Zaveri told me I was his first choice for this girl-next-door character, I realised I have actually never done a simple character like this before. Naturally, I jumped at the opportunity. I am certain the audience is in for a sweet surprise," Richa said in a statement.

The short film will be out on November 7.

The film's cast also includes Vir Das and Shaad Randhawa.
