Thirty delegates from Australia and India will converge in Mumbai and New Delhi to discuss, debate, ideate and collaborate on how digital disruption is shaping our democracy and media and the future of the workplace.
The theme of the 2018 Australia India Youth Dialogue (AIYD) will be "Digital disruption" and the event is scheduled to take place from January 21 to 24 next year.
The dialogue theme and dates were announced at the launch event in the Capital on Thursday, where AIYD's distinguished alumni and sponsors were hosted by the Australian High Commission.
Being a pre-eminent dialogue between Australia and India, the much anticipated forum provides a sustainable platform for the youth of Australia and India to come together and foster an enduring partnership between the two countries.
"Each year the AIYD brings together young Australian and Indian leaders - CEOs, Members of Parliament, journalists, policy-makers and athletes to discuss opportunities and challenges significant to the Australia-India relationship," said Karan Anand, Chair, Australia India Youth Dialogue.
Now entering its seventh year, the AIYD boasts an impressive alumni group representing some of the most accomplished and influential emerging young leaders from the two countries.
