Australia reach 113/2 in first Test against India

Australia scored 113 for two in their first innings till lunch on the first day of the first Test against India at the Adelaide Oval here Tuesday.

Left-handed opener David Warner was unbeaten on a 73-ball 77 and skipper Michael Clarke unbeaten on 14 as Chris Rogers (9) and Shane Watson (14) lost their wickets cheaply.

While Rogers lost his wicket to Ishant Sharma, Varun Aaron accounted for Watson. However, an aggressive Warner scored at a brisk pace to help the home team get off to a decent start in the first session of 24 overs.
